COREAX

Application Guide

RV storage slide-out tray hardware.

RV storage trays, camper cabinets, galley pull-outs, and under-seat drawers need controlled movement in tight spaces. COREAX slides help builders plan pull-out access around depth, clearance, load, latch behavior, and travel vibration.

Application fit

Use side-mount slides when an RV tray needs high load and lock control. Use bottom-mount slides when the pull-out is shelf-style, compact, or visually cleaner from the side. In both cases, confirm depth, clearance, load, and latch behavior before drilling.

What to check

Cabinet depthChoose slide length around the usable closed depth and check nearby doors, panels, and plumbing.
Travel securityVehicle movement makes lock behavior, latch planning, and full-travel testing more important than in static furniture.
Load balanceHeavy gear near the front of a tray can increase sag, binding, and stress on the mounting surface.
Ventilation clearanceFridge trays and galley modules may need space around vents, lids, cords, and service access.
Mounting structureThin RV panels often need reinforcement, backing plates, or a framed mounting surface.
Service accessPlan how the tray can be removed, adjusted, or inspected after installation.

Recommended COREAX path

Use COREAX heavy-duty slides for loaded RV trays and COREAX bottom-mount slides for compact shelf-style cabinet pull-outs.

Build checklist

  • Measure the opening, inner depth, and tray width.
  • Confirm whether the tray needs side support or bottom support.
  • Check door swing, lid clearance, cords, vents, and plumbing.
  • Use reinforced mounting surfaces instead of thin unsupported panels.
  • Test movement while lightly loaded before final loading.
