What load rating do I need for drawer slides?

Drawer WidthHow much clearance do drawer slides need?
Direct answer: measure the actual thickness of both rails and subtract them from the narrowest cabinet opening at rail height. Then confirm screw-head clearance, tolerance, frame parallelism, and release access.

Position ControlDo locking drawer slides lock open and closed?

Not automatically. Compare actual travel with face frames, doors, countertops, tailgates, and appliance lids.
