I wanted to add some shelves in my bathroom above the toilet, and next to the shower. These brackets are great for that, since they will fold down and out of the way should the plumbing ever need to be worked on. They're solid, and latch solidly, I don't need the full 300 pound capacity of the shelves, but it's nice to know my shelf will stay up if my cat decides it's a great place for a nap. The mounting couldn't be easier, just find the stud, and screw directly into the stud through the two mounting holes in the back part of the bracket. For the shelf itself there are 3 mounting holes to firmly connect the shelf to the bracket. It looks great once installed, a nice crisp black bracket, and I can put it down if I need it to be out of the way. You could also notch the drywall and sink these into the wall giving it an even smaller footprint when folded down. Very happy with these, they look great and function amazingly.

These folding shelf brackets were exactly what I was looking for to set up a shelf in my shed. Although it's a 6' X 12' shed, it was a bit cramped when I get everything in there and I needed a work station when doing maintenance on my riding mower or power yard tools. This was the perfect solution. I could fold it up and keep my tools/materials on it while working, and then fold it down out of the way when I didn't need it. Very easy to install, they're sturdy and well made, and easy to raise and lower.

Love this! Very sturdy!! I had a large tv tray table that I wasn’t using. I ended up using the top and these brackets and created a wonderful work area. Love it!!
