Pull-Out Worktop Slide Kit

- PULL-OUT WORKTOP EXTENSION KIT:Create a hidden countertop, desk, prep surface, or window-bench worktop. Includes one pair of rails and a front locking latch; this is not a standard drawer-slide kit.
- TOP OR BOTTOM MOUNT:Install with conventional cabinet side panels or use a concealed bottom-mount structure. The moving panel still needs suitable side-frame or edge support.
- EXTENDED-POSITION LOCKING LATCH:The front latch secures the worktop when fully extended to reduce unwanted movement. It locks the extended position only and is not a closed-position travel lock.
- COLD-ROLLED STEEL, 110 LB WORKING LOAD:Built for everyday countertop and desk extension use when installed in a rigid cabinet structure. Not for sitting, standing, steps, beds, or heavy long-cantilever platforms.
- CHECK SIZE BEFORE ORDERING:Allow at least 3 mm clearance, verify the approximately 53.2 mm installed height, and remember that pull-out travel is shorter than rail length because the rails overlap.
Fit Check
Rule out the wrong hardware first.
- Measure cabinet depth and choose a rail length that leaves room for the rear structure.
- Allow about 53.2 mm installed height and at least 3 mm working clearance.
- Support the moving panel from the required side frame or edge structure.
- Position the front latch so it is reachable and aligned when fully extended.
Best for these builds
Two mounting layoutsUse a conventional top-mount cabinet layout or conceal the rails under the moving worktop.
Extended-position latchA front latch helps keep the worktop from retracting while it is being used.
Compact hidden storageThe worktop slides back into the cabinet instead of occupying permanent floor or wall space.
Cold-rolled steel railsA 2.0 mm steel structure supports everyday desk and countertop extension use when the cabinet is rigid.
Size & clearance
Rail length and usable pull-out travel are different.
Compare the nominal rail length with the shorter travel created by the required overlap, then verify cabinet height and latch clearance.
| Size | Rail Length | Approx. Pull-Out Travel | Working Load |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 in | 12 in / 300 mm | 8 in / 200 mm | 110 lb / 50 kg |
| 14 in | 14 in / 350 mm | 10 in / 250 mm | 110 lb / 50 kg |
| 16 in | 16 in / 400 mm | 12 in / 300 mm | 110 lb / 50 kg |
| 18 in | 18 in / 450 mm | 12 in / 300 mm | 110 lb / 50 kg |
| 20 in | 20 in / 500 mm | 14 in / 350 mm | 110 lb / 50 kg |
- Installed rail height is approximately 53.2 mm.
- Allow at least 3 mm working clearance and confirm the surrounding cabinet structure before drilling.

Install & support
Questions that change the setup.
Does the latch lock the worktop closed?
No. The supplied latch locks the worktop in the fully extended position. Use a separate travel restraint if the installation must stay closed in a moving vehicle.
Can the rails be hidden under the worktop?
Yes, when the cabinet and moving panel include the side-frame or edge support shown in the installation diagram.
Fit & selection guides
Review 4 fit checks. Use only the guides you need.
Before you drill
Keep the final setup serviceable.
Moving panel supportDo not rely on the rails alone to replace the surrounding cabinet structure. The moving panel still needs the support shown for the selected mounting method.
Vehicle installationsThe latch holds the extended position only. Add a suitable closed-position restraint before treating an RV or camper installation as travel-ready.
