COREAX

Technical Support

Fit guidance for real builds.

COREAX hardware is used in drawers, cargo trays, fold-down worktops, RV storage, van conversions, garage shelves, and mobile utility systems. Use this page to prepare the right project information before contacting support.

Short answer

Before choosing COREAX hardware, measure the space, identify the mount type, estimate the loaded weight, and confirm the movement path. Drawer slides need length, clearance, travel, and load details. Folding brackets need shelf depth, wall structure, fastener plan, and finish requirements.

Drawer slide sizing

Share the closed drawer length, desired travel, cabinet opening, available side clearance, load target, and whether the installation is side mount or bottom mount.

Bracket selection

Share shelf depth, expected load, wall material, installation orientation, indoor/outdoor exposure, and whether black carbon steel or stainless steel is preferred.

Side-mount locking slideBest when a drawer, tray, or mobile cargo system needs full extension and lock-in or lock-out control.
Bottom-mount drawer slideBest when a shelf-style pull-out needs support from below and a cleaner visible side profile.
Folding shelf bracketBest when a work surface needs to stay strong while open and fold down after use.

Before you install

  • Confirm clearance and travel dimensions before drilling.
  • Use appropriate fasteners for the actual mounting surface.
  • Test movement under light load before final loading.
  • For vehicle builds, check vibration, latch behavior, and interference through the full travel path.

What to send for support

  • Order number or product SKU.
  • Product size, color, and installation location.
  • Photos or short video showing the issue or installation context.
  • Measurements of the cabinet, drawer, shelf, or mounting surface.

Technical support questions

What measurements should I send before choosing drawer slides?

Send the cabinet depth, drawer width, closed slide length, available side clearance, expected load, mount type, and whether the build needs lock-in or lock-out control.

What information helps COREAX recommend folding brackets?

Send shelf depth, wall material, fastener plan, expected load, indoor or outdoor exposure, and whether the shelf needs to fold flat against the wall.

Can COREAX confirm fit from photos?

Photos help, but dimensions are still required. Send photos together with SKU, size, mounting location, and measurements of the drawer, cabinet, shelf, or wall surface.
